The Prisoner’s Throne by Holly Black

A mini review of one of my favorite fantasy worlds. Entering Elfhame originally in the first series before this was an eye opener. I wasn’t much into fantasy genre back then but i slowly became the biggest fan of anything elfame. Spoilers Ahead!!!

Prisoners Throne from @fairyloot is the most BEAUTIFUL thing EVER!! I love Oak and Wren on the cover. I love that we get Oak art on the inside as well as the lovely designs on the inside cover. And of course a letter from @blackholly herself💛

I’m in awe of this book cover. I’ve basically read every single book of Holly Black and they never disappointed.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Mini Book Review✨

Oak and Wren! Now I wasn’t sure what I was expecting when I started this book now I do remember that Oak was put in a cell in the end of the first book by Wren and so he was captured for three weeks. Now of course Oak had his own plan and knew that Jude and Cardan would send an army to get him but what I wasn’t expecting was finding out the the storm hag was using Wren to the point where Wren would have died continuing to use the power she has. Once Wren was reborn she became her own hag and did what her actual magic was supposed to do-Create. Now I’m sad that Ghost is now a tree and technically “not dead” but I hate the fact nothetless that it happened. wren and Oak got their happy ending as Oak will be temporary heir until Jude and Cardan return from the Undersea which I have a feeling will become the next book.

Take the risk and enjoy the world of elfame. Check out the first book ‘The Stolen Heir’ by clicking on the link to the authors website.
