This duet was something me and my coworker started together with the first one Little Stranger. We finished the first book so quick and were so ready for the 2nd one to be out.

I love Malachi and Olivia. These two have the chemistry and love that others wish for. Even though they are foster siblings their love was eternal.

Malachi and Olivia. I love them. Honestly wasn’t sure what I was expecting but Malachi being selectively mute is so hot and he gets so obsessed with Olivia-foster sister. Olivia was a little harder to like but I love that at the end she realized that malachi was the one for her and stood up to her mom. I have a feeling in the second book there will be a lot of drama between the two and last characters coming to ruin them.

Amazing second book to the first one! I loved that Malachi and Olivia were able to get the happy ever after they deserved. The first part of the story to me seemed like a recap of the first book just in Malachis point of view but seeing it from how he was perceiving it was so heartbreaking and learning his story/background before he went to the Vice was sad. I liked how even after he nearly killed his dad he was able to build a strong relationship bond with him and have the family and girl he deserves. HEA.
